How does it work?
-
Usually, a chat on the phone with Tom is the first step, where we chat about your project and see if we’re a compatible match for your project.
-
An on-site meeting with Tom where we really get to grips with your aspirations for your garden.
-
After the initial meeting, Tom provides a written garden design brief based on your chats so far. A quote is also provided for the concept and technical stages of the project.
-
Tom creates an interactive moodboard for you, where you can look at proposed material and plant choices. Thereafter, concept images range from 2D masterplans through to 3D photo-realistic fly-throughs. Some projects are concept-only, and this would be the final stage in those types of job.
-
Detailed working drawings are provided that allow a landscape construction company to build your garden. We can recommend contractors for carrying out the hard landscaping.
-
Detailed planting plan(s) are provided, along with a plant list and maintenance instructions.
-
We can recommend trusted contractors for this phase of the project, and Tom carries out project monitoring visits during construction to make sure the design stays on track.
-
As the build is coming to completion, Tom and his colleagues dovetail in to carry out the planting phase of the job.
-
After the garden is complete, Tom and his colleagues can provide a maintenance services. Tom is also available for regular consultancy visits if you are looking to manage the garden yourself.
