Tom is passionate about helping to educate, train and spread the word about best practice environmental horticulture. Having been a key member of the small team writing the current apprenticeship for Horticulture & Landscape Technical Managers, Tom continues to look for opportunities to share his knowledge and passion.
In 2023, Tom created a webinar series looking at lansdcape inspection skills, maintenance specifications and best practice tree & hedge planting. The sessions are targeted principally at property and facilities managers, contractors, landscape architects, architects, and builders, though anyone is welcome to attend. Details of the webinars are given below, and they are organised on request. In-house training sessions are also available. All sessions are hosted by Tom, an experienced landscape maintenance contractor as well as Chartered Horticulturist and Master of Horticulture (RHS). Tom used his MHort (RHS) award to research soft landscape maintenance standards - it is a subject he is passionate about, which ensures that the webinars are are engaging, interesting, and packed full of practical tips.
